RELEASE OF LIABILITY, WAIVER OF CLAIMS ASSUMPTION OF RISK and INDEMNITY
By submitting your registration online, you waive certain legal rights, including the right to sue. Please read carefully!
In consideration of permission, granted now or in the future by AT Properties Ltd. O/A Hilah Ayers Wilderness RV Park (“The Organizer”), to participate in the Pigeon Lake Music Festival Summer Showcase (the “Event”) on June 29 - 30, 2024, I agree and acknowledge that:
1. I have met all the prerequisites required for participation in the Event and will abide by its rules and regulations.
2. Participation in the Event has risks and hazards including risks associated with the novel coronavirus and COVID-19. As a participant, I may suffer property damage, personal injury, illness, and even death. I freely and voluntarily assume all the risks and hazards of participation in the Event, including any legal risks. This means that I am giving up my right to sue The Organizer for any reason, including The Organizer’s negligence, if I suffer any damage, injury, illness, loss or death by participating in the Event.
3. I waive any claim I may have against The Organizer arising from my participation in the Event, however it is caused, and I agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Organizer from any and all claims arising from my participation in the Event.
4. This RELEASE OF LIABILITY, WAIVER OF CLAIMS INCLUDING CLAIMS ASSOCIATED WITH THE NOVEL CORONAVIRUS AND COVID-19, ASSUMPTION OF RISK and INDEMNITY is binding on myself, my heirs, my executors, administrators, personal representatives and assigns.
5. I hereby grant full permission to the Organizer to use any photographs, motion pictures, videotapes, recordings or any other record of this Event for any purpose including, without limitation, commercial use.
I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD THIS AGREEMENT AND I AM AWARE THAT BY REGISTERING ONLINE, I AM WAIVING CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SUE, WHICH I, OR MY HEIRS, NEXT OF KIN, EXECUTORS, ADMINISTRATORS AND ASSIGNEES, MAY HAVE AGAINST THE ORGANIZERS AND RELEASEES
